Vidya Counselling Centre began in Dombivli in 2011, shaped by Trupti Kulshreshtha's years of NGO work with vulnerable communities.
Our story
Rooted in community work
Trupti Kulshreshtha spent years working with vulnerable communities through NGO work. That experience showed her how much people benefit from being heard without judgement, and it inspired her to begin Vidya in 2011.
She named the centre after her late mother. The name keeps a personal memory at the heart of the work, a reminder of warmth and lifelong learning.
